When and why dental hygiene is necessary?
In just one hour, you will forget about plaque, tartar, and see a mirror reflection of a smile with natural, radiant whiteness! Daily consumption of coffee and tea, smoking, and products with strong pigments can cause enamel darkening, while insufficient hygiene leads to bad odor and gum bleeding. We recommend all our patients undergo professional oral hygiene once every 6 months.

How Oral hygiene is done in our clinic?
Preparation of the clinic
The hygienist prepares the workspace, disinfects surfaces and the patient chair, and gets the necessary equipment and tools ready for the procedure.
Visual examination
The hygienist conducts a visual examination of the oral cavity to assess the condition of the teeth and gums, as well as to identify the presence of tartar and plaque.
Tartar and plaque removal
Using ultrasound and hand instruments, tartar and plaque are removed from the surfaces of the teeth and between them. If there is a need for additional plaque removal, the Air Flow system is used. This procedure involves removing dental plaque using a directed air-water stream with soda particles. Air Flow is also widely used as a maintenance procedure for veneers and braces.
Tooth Polishing
After plaque removal, the hygienist performs tooth polishing with a special paste, helping to remove any remaining stains and giving the teeth a shine.
Consultation and Recommendations
At the end of the procedure, the hygienist provides advice on dental and gum care, discusses the importance of regular cleanings and preventive check-ups, and, if necessary, develops a tailored plan for further care.

F.A.Q.
Usually, the dental hygiene procedure takes between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the condition of the oral cavity and the volume of work.
It is recommended to have dental hygiene performed twice a year.
Regular dental hygiene helps prevent cavities, gum diseases, and other dental issues while improving the overall condition of the oral cavity.
Some patients may experience mild discomfort during the procedure, especially if they have sensitive teeth or a gum disease, but most procedures are painless.
If you have increased tooth sensitivity, inform the hygienist before the procedure begins. They will choose special pastes and methods to minimize discomfort during the hygiene process.
