All on 4 Dental Implants – Restoring Your Smile and Full Function
The patient came to our clinic seeking comprehensive functional and aesthetic rehabilitation of the mouth. Following a thorough clinical examination and 3D diagnostics, it was determined that the long-term prognosis of the existing teeth was unfavourable, and preserving them would not allow for a stable and predictable treatment outcome. An individual treatment plan was developed using the All on 4 concept. During a single surgical procedure, the remaining teeth were extracted, four dental implants were placed, and an immediate temporary fixed prosthesis was provided. The procedure was performed under general anaesthesia, ensuring the patient’s comfort throughout the treatment. Following successful osseointegration of the implants, the temporary prosthesis was replaced with a permanent full-arch zirconia restoration. The treatment was performed by Dr Jevgenijs Kiliarskis, a dentist with experience in oral surgery, prosthodontics and implantology. The result was restored chewing function and stability, together with a natural and harmonious smile. Old fillings – when is it time to replace them?
Even a high-quality filling that has lasted for many years can wear out over time. Daily chewing pressure, temperature changes and the natural wear of the material can affect both the filling and the condition of the tooth. That is why regular dental check-ups are important, as sometimes a filling may need to be replaced even if the patient does not experience any discomfort. A filling may need to be replaced if the restoration has worn down, changed colour, gaps have developed around it, or the edges of the filling no longer fit closely against the tooth. Attention should also be paid to damaged or broken fillings, as well as signs of decay around or underneath the restoration. Deep Caries Lesion in the Aesthetic Zone of a Front Tooth
Since the front teeth are the most noticeable part of a smile, their visual appearance is of crucial importance. In this situation, the outer surface of the patient’s front tooth was affected by deep caries, which significantly damaged the tooth tissue. During the therapy, the damaged tissues were precisely and carefully removed to maximally protect the remaining healthy part of the tooth. Subsequently, the tooth was aesthetically restored using a high-quality composite material, which allowed for a perfect imitation of the tooth’s original shape, shade, and texture. At the end of this process, not only was the full function of the tooth restored, but also a natural and attractive smile – the completed work visually blends completely with the real tooth and is unnoticeable to others. It is important to note that after such extensive treatment, the gums around the tooth may be slightly red and sensitive. This is a normal reaction of the body to the procedures performed, and this discomfort usually disappears completely within a few days.

A healthy smile starts in childhood
During a single visit, our young patient underwent comprehensive dental treatment under general anaesthesia, ensuring a calm, comfortable and safe treatment experience. The treatment included the treatment of 6 teeth, the application of a protective coating to 6 teeth to help prevent caries, professional oral hygiene and deep fluoridation to strengthen the tooth enamel. The full crown portion of 3 out of 4 front teeth was aesthetically and functionally restored.
